305 FOREIGNERS DETAINED IN BIG OPERATION
KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- Some 305 foreigners mostly from Myanmar, Bangladesh and Vietnam were detained in a special operation in the city Wednesday night.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Sabtu Osman said 141 foreigners detained in raids
on cheap hotels did not have valid travel documents.
He said so far six of the foreigners tested positive for drugs. All would be
remanded until they were tested for drugs and their passports and work permits
verified.
