Foreign Minister thanked by British counterpart

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received a letter of thanks from the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Dominic Raab, in which he expressed thanks and appreciation for the support given to British nationals in the Kingdom of Bahrain during COVID-19 pandemic. The British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Bahrain’s assistance in facilitating repatriation flights for the British nationals reflects close historic relations between the two countries. He also stressed the United Kingdom’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation and coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve common interests, wishing the Kingdom’s government and people further progress and prosperity.
