330 Kyrgyzstanis returned to homeland from Turkey amid COVID-19 pandemic

Bishkek, July 15, 2020. /Kabar/. 330 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been returned Wednesday to the homeland from Turkey, including young children. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the citizens have arrived on charter flight of Turkish Airlines on the Istanbul-Bishkek-Istanbul route, which was organized for the export of Turkish citizens from Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz citizens from Turkey. This flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Foreign Ministries of the two countries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world. Due to resumption of international air travel by Turkey and lifting of restrictions on the entry of foreign nationals, it has become possible to return Kyrgyz citizens from Malaysia, Northern Cyprus, Japan, France, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA, Germany, Vietnam, Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain, Malaysia, Georgia on this flight by transit traffic. The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
