32 MEMBERS OF BLACK MONEY SYNDICATE NABBED
KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- Twenty-nine African nationals including
two women were arrested in a raid on an apartment in Kepong Thursday for their
alleged involvement in a black money syndicate and drugs.
Also nabbed in the 3pm operation were three local women.
The police also seized various equipments, believed to be used by the
syndicate in their illegal operations, including 20 lap-top computers and
scanners, said the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department
director Koh Hong Sun.
"They are believed to have been involved in various crimes including black
money, cheating, four-digit number, lottery and drugs," he told Bernama when
contacted here.
All suspects, aged between 20 and 40, have been remanded to facilitate
investigations.
