Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases top 40,177 with 258 new cases

Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 258 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 40,177. The Republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that 11 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 2,959, including 2,178 recoveries. The headquarters reported the recovery of 407 COVID-19 patients over the past day, bringing the total recoveries to 32,229. Meanwhile, 6 lethal cases from the coronavirus were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the country's COVID-19 death toll to 1,474.
