Chief-of-Staff meets remotely with Japanese counterpart

Manama, Aug. 19 (BNA): BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Dhiyab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi, met remotely with Lieutenant General Koji Yamazaki, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Defense Force of Japan. The chief of staff discussed topics to enhance bilateral relations and joint military coordination between the two friendly countries. Lieutenant General Yamazaki praised Bahrain for hosting the joint anti-piracy mission, which includes elements of the Japanese Navy in the Joint Duty Forces Team (CTF-151), and the efforts made by the Kingdom to combat COVID-19.
