HM King's stance welcomed by Palestinan Foreign Minister

Ramallah, Aug. 27 (BNA): Bahrain’s stance, confirmed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa while receiving the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, here yesterday, in support of the establishment of an independent Palestinian State, in accordance with the International Legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, has been welcomed by the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Riad Malki. In a statement carried by the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) today, the minister lauded HM King Hamad’s assertion of the importance of intensifying efforts to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict according to the two-state solution that would achieve a just and comprehensive peace and lead to the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the International Legitimacy’s resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, which is the kingdom’s firm stance towards the Palestinian issue. Dr. Riad Malki stressed that HM the King’s stance would support the Palestinian people and leadership in countering annexation plans, as well as strengthen their ability to resist challenges.
