Speaker condoles with Indian counterpart on death of former President

Manama, Sept. 2 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent two cables of condolences to Indian Speaker of the House of the People (Lok Sabha) Shri Om Birla and Chairman of the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu on the death of former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. She expressed sincerest condolences, wishing the deceased mercy and his family patience and consolation. The Representatives Council Speaker sent a similar cable to Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava.
