Bahrain condemns stabbing incident in Tunisia

Manama, Sept. 7 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the stabbing incident in Sousse, Tunisia, that led to the death of one Tunisian National Guard officer and the injury of another. The Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed in a statement its deep condolences to the family of the deceased officer and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded officer in the heinous criminal act. The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Tunisia in its efforts to counter terrorism. It also reiterated its firm position that rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in confronting terrorist organizations that threaten security and international peace.
