Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): The courageous step taken by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reflects his status as a man of peace invariably keen on initiatives that contribute to achieving peace and stability in the region, the Middle East and the world, the youth and sports minister has said. Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayed said that HM the King has set his sight on achieving peace, global stability, tolerance and cordiality among religions, including resolving the Palestinian cause in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy, treaties and the Arab Peace Initiative. HM the King has exerted intense efforts in the interests of the Arab nation and the Palestinian cause, making international stability, security and safety a global basis, and always emphasizing the importance of resolving conflicts and disputes in peaceful ways that guarantee the world its stability and development, he added. “The declaration of support for peace between Bahrain and Israel is a sovereign decision based on the public and national interest of the Kingdom,” he said. “It will contribute to strengthening security and stability in the region, will have positive repercussions on the region, will contribute to developing relations in various fields and will boost stability and security in the Middle East.”
