Assistant Foreign Minister receives US Chargé d'Affaires

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, received here today, the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Margaret Nardi. The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed pride in the distinguished historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America, praising the continuous development of bilateral ties in all fields. He valued the effective participation of the US Chargé d'Affaires in the recently held workshop on the role of the media, the press and the National Action Plan for Human Rights, stressing the importance of continuing joint cooperation and coordination in various fields in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and people. The US Chargé d'Affaires commended the depth of the strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, praising the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance stability, security and peace in the region. She wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common concern.
