House Committee on Foreign Affairs applauds Bahrain-Israel peace declaration

Washington, Sept. 13 (BNA): The House Committee on Foreign Affairs GOP has hailed the announcement of establishing diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Israel. "I am heartened that another of our Gulf partners is embracing diplomacy and dialogue with Israel. I congratulate King Hamad and Prime Minister Netanyahu, as well as the people of Bahrain and Israel, on establishing diplomatic ties between their countries,” Congressman Michael McCaul, Republican Leader on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said in a statement. “I thank the [Trump] Administration for their impressive work to foster these game-changing developments. All of us will benefit from increased opportunities to work together on shared interests and goals."
