Leadership's stances towards Palestinian rights, Arab fundaments remain firm: Works Minister

Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, has lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support for Arab and Islamic issues, and consolidation of the tolerance and peaceful co-existence across the Middle East region. The minister stressed that Bahrain is a sovereign country that takes its decisions based on its national and Arab fundamentals, as well as its top security interests, adding that the kingdom’s stances emanate from its responsibility and the high interests of the Arab and Islamic nations. Khalaf emphasised that the kingdom’s leadership’s stance towards the Palestinian people’s inalienable and legitimate rights, as well as Arab fundamentals has been and remains firm.
