HRH Crown Prince congratulated by Shura Council Chairman

Manama, Sept.18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister received a cable of congratulations from the Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, on the signing of the Declaration of Support for Peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel. Al-Saleh praised the historic step which seeks to further instil coexistence and dialogue and promote just and comprehensive peace to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and support regional peace. Al-Saleh highlighted that the historic move affirms Bahrain’s sovereignty, adding that the decision stems from Bahrain’s National and Arab fundamentals and vital interests. Al-Saleh underlined Bahrain’s commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative and the international resolutions, voicing support to HM the King in this important step conducive to comprehensive peace that guarantees the Palestinian people their legitimate rights. The Chairman of the Shura Council wished HRH the Crown Prince good health and success.
