Qatar Football Team Arrives in Turkey Ahead of Ghana Friendly Match

Antalya (Turkey), October 11 (QNA) - The Qatar national football team arrived on Saturday in Antalya, Turkey ahead of its friendly game against Ghana on Monday. The Qatari national team played its first training session on Saturday evening at the Titanic Sports Complex in Antalya. The team will practice on Sunday at the match stadium under the leadership of Spanish coach Felix Sanchez. Qatar's game against Ghana on Monday is as part of the preparation program for the double Asian qualifiers for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in China and the 2022 World Cup. This gathering is the first for the national team in more than three months after the end of its previous camp on July 3, which was without friendly or official matches, but the goal is to restore the players' training conditions after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
