QUAKE HITS BENGKULU
Bengkulu, Apr 27 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked North Bengkulu district late Monday.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 04.33 p.m. was in the sea about 60 km southwest of Bintuhan in North Bengkulu at a depth of 22 km, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency.
Bengkulu was rocked by a 7.9 magnitude undersea quake on September 12, 2007, leaving 15 people dead and 50 others injured.
