Shura Chairman congratulates Egyptian Senate President

Manama, Oct.18 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to Chancellor Abdulwahab Abdulrazzaq who was elected a President of Egypt’s Senate during the first session, after electing and appointed members. He commended the new Senate President, hailing his expertise and competence in the legislative field and law enforcement through the posts he held over the past years. He congratulated the Senate members who were elected or appointed by Egyptian President Abdul Fattah el-Sisi, wishing them success in assuming their legislative duties. He stressed the keenness of the Shura Council to expand parliamentary coordination and cooperation with the Egyptian Senate and Parliament , lauding strong fraternal relations and common interests binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Egypt.
