Commander-in-Chief receives US military attaché

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received US Military Attaché Colonel John Gondol. The commander-in-chief praised the distinguished relationship between Bahrain and the US. The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest, and ways to strengthen Bahraini-American relations at various levels, especially military and defense cooperation. Defense Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi were present.
