Sheikh Joaan Participates in IOC Public Affairs Commission Meeting

Doha, November 03 (QNA) - HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani took part in the third meeting of the Commission for Public Affairs and Social Development through Sport at the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which was held via videoconference call on Monday under the chairmanship of Luis Mourinho, in the presence of President of the International Olympic Committee Dr. Thomas Bach and members. During the meeting, the members discussed the latest developments in the Olympic movement, and the role of the Commission for Public Affairs and Social Development in promoting international peace and security. The meeting also reviewed the topics listed on the agenda and took the necessary decisions thereon. (QNA)
