Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani Honors Champions of Qatar SC Table Tennis Team

Doha, November 03 (QNA) - HE Qatar SC President Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani honored on Monday evening the champions of the club's table tennis team, in appreciation of their remarkable achievement this season by obtaining the triple (the local league championship, HH the Amir cup and the Shield of Excellence). HE Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani praised the achievements of the Qatar SC champions, stressing that they made a great effort and succeeded in honoring the club, so they deserve the honoring, promising more support for the team and the table tennis staff in the club to continue the success. Qatar SC had regained the league championship for the third time in its history after winning the title in the 1995 and 2014 seasons. Also, the team won HH the Amir Cup for the third year in a row this season, and for the fourth time in its history after it achieved it in 2002, 2018, and 2019, after beating Al Sadd 3-1 in the final match at Abdullah bin Suhaim Hall in Qatar SC. The club won the Shield of Excellence for the third year in a row after the age groups teams won most of the titles, as the club had won the title in 2018 and 2019. (QNA)
