Aspire Academy, Qatar Foundation Extend Collaboration of Football Training Agreement

Doha, November 12 (QNA) - Aspire Academy and Qatar Foundation have agreed to extend their ongoing two-year football training agreement following the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), that was signed by Deputy Director General of Aspire Academy Ali Salem Afifa, and Director of Community Engagement at Qatar Foundation Amy Johnson. The agreement stipulates that Aspire Academy will continue benefiting from the use of three of Qatar Foundation's football pitches to train youth talent. The sites are located at Education City, Al Khor and Al Wakra. "This agreement is more than just a contract; it is a symbolic partnership of unity as two key national institutions join forces to benefit the wider community. The Aspire Zone Foundation and Qatar Foundation both play a central role in the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030, as both entities continue to actively support and contribute to the Human Development Pillar of the national vision, through sports and community development respectively," Ali Salem commented over the signing of the MoU. For her part, Amy Johnson said: "Community development is at the core of Qatar Foundation's mission and, this agreement further demonstrates our commitment to supporting and reinforcing the development of Qatar's society. The work of Aspire Academy, which involves the training of an entire generation of national sports professionals, makes an invaluable contribution to the progression and sustainability of Qatari society, now and into the future, and we are therefore proud to be taking active steps in supporting the growth of this work."
