Sekong opens trade fair to promote local products
(KPL) the southern province of Sekong organized early this week a trade fair to promote handicraft products made in the province. The function, a part of activities to mark the 25th anniversary founding of the province, was attended by all departments, districts and businessmen from local and nearby provinces.
The trade fair which attended to open by provincial governor Khamphan Phommathat was attended by 70 booths, 4 of which are built as ethnic house style.
Mr. Phonephet Kielavong, Vice governor of Sekong disclosed that this was a significant event for Sekong people and it held to show the achievements and the growth of the Sekong province in 25 years. He said that the Sekong province has noting during the first day of the establishment but so far a number of buildings, offices and other infrastructure has been built.During the function, the photo exhibition showing the great achievements and national defense and construction tasks was also organized.
