BRCS participates in GCC meeting

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) participated in the meeting of the Committee of GCC Senior Officials of the Red Crescent Societies. This is in preparation for the sixteenth meeting of the Committee of the GCC Red Crescent bodies and societies' Heads. They reviewed the report prepared by the General Secretariat on the GCC states' efforts to confront the COVID-19 pandemic in the field of volunteer work. The committee also discussed many issues of priority and common interest in volunteer work, media and awareness, the chairperson's committee's work plan, and the application of" Aseafni." The meeting came up with several recommendations to be presented to the upcoming meeting of the committee of heads of the Red Crescent bodies and societies in the GCC states.
