Qatari Authors' Forum to Organize Conference for Solidarity with Palestinian People

Doha, November 18 (QNA) - The Qatari Authors' Forum will organize a conference on the Palestinian cause from November 24 to 30, 2020. The conference coincides with the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which is observed annually on November 29. A large number of intellectuals and those interested in the Palestinian cause from Qatar and the Arab world will take part in the event. The conference, which will be broadcast on the Forum's channel on YouTube, will focus on the Palestinian cause and related human rights. The conference's activities include a writing competition for school students from inside and outside Qatar, and a drawing competition for school students via social media platforms and newspapers, in addition to introducing the Palestinian cause and the participation of cultural centers. Director General of Qatari Authors' Forum Maryam Yassin Al Hammadi will deliver a welcoming speech during the conference. (QNA)
