Shura Chairman receives South Korean ambassador

Manama, Nov. 18 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received newly-appointed South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Hae Kwan Chung. During the meeting, which was attended by Second Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Jamila Ali Salman, Al Saleh praised South Korea’s industrial development, stressing the Shura Council’s support to bilateral cooperation in the legislative, cultural, commercial and economic fields. The Shura Council Chairman reviewed the procedures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to support the economic sectors and provide health services for citizens and residents, as part of the kingdom’s efforts to combat coronavirus outbreak. The South Korean ambassador expressed his country’s keenness to boost bilateral cooperation at all levels and enhance relations in the legislative and legal fields.
