Parliament Affairs Minister participates in GCC meeting

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainin participated today in the 21st meeting of the ministerial committee for following the implementation of decisions related to joint GCC work. The meeting, which was organised by the GCC Secretariat General, convened remotely today under the chairmanship of the UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi. The committee reviewed the legislative and executive tools issued in the GCC member states to carry out the resolutions of the Supreme Council. It shed light on the recommendations of the 20th virtual meeting which was held in July. It also got informed about a report by the GCC Statistical Centre on the implementation of the resolutions and ensuring maximum benefit from them by the GCC nationals. The Minister pf Parliament Affairs expressed utmost thanks to the GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al Hajref and all affiliates of the GCC Secretariat General for the efforts made to prepare the committee’s meetings and follow up the implementation of the resolutions.
