Bahraini Ambassador congratulates Oman on National Day

Muscat, Nov. 19 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to Oman HE Dr. Juma’a bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, the government and the Omani people on the 50th anniversary of Oman’s National Day. He stressed that November 18 is a historical day for the Omani people and a gratitude to the leader of Oman’s renewed renaissance, HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. HE Dr. Juma’a bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi wished HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq abundant health, happiness and a long life and further growth and prosperity to the Omani people, under his leadership. In a press statement marking the occasion, the Bahraini ambassador stressed that the Omani people’s celebration of the 50th National Day reflects their pride in the achievements brought by their country in various fields. He added it is also an occasion for the Omani people to reiterate allegiance to the leader of Oman’s renewed renaissance, HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. HE Dr. Juma’a bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi lauded Oman’s perpetual development in various fields thanks to the opportunities found in all the governorates in the sultanate. He praised the economic and administrative reform march spearheaded by HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq which is aimed at backing economic growth, diversifying revenues, rationalizing and enhancing the competence of expenditure and boosting social security. He also commended Oman’s success in handling the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its repercussions by taking preventive decisions to protect people’s health and mitigate the spread of the virus. The Bahraini ambassador lauded deep-rooted historical fraternal ties binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman and their perpetual growth at all levels. He also praised Oman’s support to Bahrain’s stances and initiatives in various regional and international gatherings, pointing out that strengthening bilateral cooperation serves the interests of all the GCC member states.
