AFC Champions League: South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai FC Secure 2-1 Win over Australia's Perth Glory

Doha, November 24 (QNA) - Two last gasp goals helped South Korean Ulsan Hyundai salvage victory from the jaws of defeat, winning 2-1 in a remarkable 2020 AFC Champions League Group F clash against Australian Perth Glory at Education City Stadium on Tuesday. The Australians had been up thanks to a second-half goal from Daniel Stynes, and looked set for a famous victory before Kim In-sung slammed home an 89th minute leveller, with Junior Negrao volleying home the winner in the third minute of added time. The result is a major blow to Perth's chances of reaching the knockout stage, with the 2018/19 A-League Premiers still without a point after three matches. In their third match of the tournament, Perth retained much of the youthful line-up that featured against Shanghai Shenhua last Wednesday, and this time they made a steadier start. Ulsan monopolised early possession in a manner reminiscent of Saturday's impressive 3-1 win over Shanghai Shenhua, but with 26-goal striker Junior Negrao sitting on the bench, and some whole-hearted defending by Perth's back four - average age 20 - the Korean side were unable to force goalkeeper Tando Velaphi into a save before half-time.
