First Women Medical Officers Appointed in AFC Champions League 2020

Doha, November 25 (QNA) - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced that four women Medical Officers were appointed to work during the ongoing AFC Champions League (East) 2020 in Doha. In a statement on its website, the AFC said that they have joined the AFC history books by becoming the first women Medical Officers to be appointed in an AFC men's club competition. It added that the quartet are among nine Medical Officers including Doping Control Officers working behind the scenes to ensure the safety of players and officials. (QNA)
