Al Shaqab Racing's SHERSHAB Wins Prix des Criques in France

Paris, November 25 (QNA) - Bred and owned by Al Shaqab Racing, SHERSHAB (FR) (Shalaa x Gherdaiya) opened his scorecard, winning the Prix des Criques at Marseille Pont de Vivaux, France. It was the third start for Frederic Rossi's trainee. As he broke from the gate, SHERSHAB sat handily in third position on the outside in the 1,500-metre race for two-year-old maidens on the all-weather. Perfectly placed by jockey Sylvain Ruis on this sharp-turning track, the bay colt joined the leaders by the beginning of the straight and ran to a comfortable victory by a length in front of SEBS DU DEFI (Youmzain).
