HH Shaikh Nasser praises royal keenness on youth empowerment

Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has affirmed that the rich experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in empowering the youth has become a model at the regional and global level thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed the royal keenness on supporting the youth empowerment programmes to hone the skills and capabilities of Bahraini youngsters and further engage them in shaping the kingdom’s future. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa pointed out that the achievement brought about by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs in clinching the best Arab government project for empowering the youth award in recognition of its Elite Project is a clear proof of the tremendous development in the youth-oriented projects and initiatives. The award was granted within the Arab Government Excellence Award, which was held under the umbrella of the Arab League in partnership with the UAE and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO). HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the kingdom’s successful experience in empowering the youth and tapping on their potentials through quality programmes aimed at honing their talents. He praised the young national competencies and their inspirational stories of success, pointing out the kingdom’s resolve to go ahead with its youth empowerment march and projecting it worldwide. He added the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) will continue mapping out programmes to further empower the Bahraini youth, promote the youth movement, explore and hone talents and further engage the youth in building the nation.
