King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence to launch Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration in South America

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): The King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence will launch the Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration in South America from Brazil in December next December.
Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro will attend the center's activities in the capital, Brasilia, the Center said during the fourth meeting of its board of trustees chaired by Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The board stressed the importance of the Declaration in spreading the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa by consolidating the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence and taking them to the world from Bahrain, the land of peace.
It also highlighted the need to consolidate relations with South America based on the values of tolerance, coexistence and mutual respect among all peoples and regions.
The board also discussed the details of the recent visit by a delegation from the center to Israel and the important meetings it held.
During his meeting with the delegation headed by Shaikh Khalid, the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin praised HM the King's insightful vision in spreading love, peace and tolerance regionally and globally.
He also cited ancient civilizations in Bahrain, saying that Bahrain is a blessed land that is a very important starting point for human relations, ahead of politics. He also stressed that human bonds are the foundation of any next phase of the peace process.
The delegation highlighted to Rivlin the most prominent features of the royal vision regarding the consolidation of peaceful coexistence in the region and the world.
They also stressed the possibilities and initiatives in Bahrain to form a model that will not be repeated, especially since Bahrainis have been living for hundreds of years in harmony and within a cultural diversity whose history extends to more than 5,000 years.
The center’s delegation confirmed to President Rivlin the importance of humanitarian cooperation between the two parties in training, youth and other fields of knowledge.
The meeting was also briefed on the Memorandum of Understanding that the Center concluded with the Hebrew University during the visit to Israel.
Under the agreement, work will be carried out together to develop and implement programs that will enhance mutual respect, appreciation and peaceful coexistence between Arabs and Jews on the one hand, and among all religions in the Middle East on the other hand, based on the principles of the Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration issued on July 3, 2017.
The Center will also cooperate with the university to develop educational programs to promote concepts of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect with possibilities that include King Hamad Faith in Leadership fellowship program, the King Hamad Program for Cyber Peace and the Summer Program of the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence at the Sapienza University in Rome.
The focus will be on monotheistic religions, innovation, technology transformation and other areas.
The MoU also includes the sponsorship of the Center of students from the Hebrew University who will be selected to participate in the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence at Sapienza University and the summer program of the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence at Sapienza University.
