HM King congratulated by information minister on F1 success

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi on the great success achieved by Bahrain in organizing and holding the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Al Romaihi praised the great efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the success of this global sporting event in exceptional circumstances. He also lauded the efforts of the security services and youth volunteers, and the availability of media and technical capacities at the Bahrain International Circuit, which enabled international media to transmit the race to millions of viewers and strengthened the Kingdom's status on the international sports and media map. Al Romaihi noted Bahrain continued its successes in hosting the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix for the 16th year thanks to its organizational competence, its distinctive human, technical and media capabilities, and the unlimited support of HM the King, with direct follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister expressed special pride in HRH Prince Salman’s civilized, humanitarian and development messages to allocate seats to allocate seats in the Bahrain International Circuit for the families of frontline health workers and first responders in Bahrain in recognition of their contributions and commitment within the national efforts to address the pandemic in the Kingdom. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was particularly keen to hold the sporting event under precautionary and preventive measures to ensure health and safety for all.
