HM King congratulated on success of parliamentary session simulation for youth

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Youth and Sports Minister Aymen bin Tawfeeq Al Moayyad on the success of the parliamentary session simulation for youth. The session was organized by the Council of Representatives in implementation of the call by HM the King to support and educate young people through national action and parliamentary work practices and to motivate them to participate actively in light of the comprehensive development process. The minister praised the great support that Bahraini youth receive from HM the King, and which contributed to Bahrain’s democratic and youth experience achieving several successes at various levels. The comprehensive development action has also contributed to consolidating the foundations of democracy in the Kingdom and encouraging the youth to be active actors in society, participants in decision-making and involved in parliamentary practices, he added. Al Moayyad said that the parliamentary session simulation is in line with the vision of HM the King to prepare the ideal setting for youth. It also constitutes an important tributary of democracy in the Kingdom, teaches young people the principles of dialogue and respect of different opinions, and familiarizes them with the provisions of the Constitution and laws in Bahrain. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs took part in the session and delivered a speech that confirmed his keenness to implement HM the King's directives to empower youth in various fields. The minister pledged to HM the King to move forward in consolidating the royal vision of supporting the youth in the Kingdom and consolidating the principles of democracy and parliamentary culture.
