HM King congratulated by HH Shaikh Nasser on F1 success

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, on the great success achieved by Bahrain in organizing and holding the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. HH Shaikh Nasser also congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the tremendous success, lauded his efforts, close follow-up on the preparations and personal keenness on all details and stressed that his endeavors led to the race held under the best organizational form. Bahrain was able to organize an exceptional race this year and Bahrainis were able to turn the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic into success, he added. The success has confirmed the Kingdom's great capabilities for the success of the great global event and its professional approaches that contributed to highlighting Bahrain's status as the home of motorsports in the Middle East, he said. HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that the Kingdom's organization of the Formula 1 confirms the great position it now holds in motorsport and its enormous ability in dealing with the organizational and administrative procedures to host a successful race. The Kingdom has achieved numerous gains from hosting the F1 race as the international media shed positive light on Bahrain. The great efforts by the Bahrain International Circuit staff and those in charge of the race were appreciated and admired by all attendees and observers, and Bahrainis managed to have the race in an ideal organizational manner and tackled various challenges professionally, which contributed to preserving the safety of everyone, HH Shaikh Nasser said.
