Foreign Minister receives UAE ambassador

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today, received in his office at the Ministry's General Court today the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the presence of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Regional and GCC Affairs, Ambassador Waheed Mubarak Sayyar. The Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the 49th anniversary of the UAE’s National Day, praising solid fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, and the bonds of kinship and common destiny binding them. He voiced Bahrain's appreciation of the advanced level of bilateral cooperation and joint coordination between the two brotherly countries, wishing the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates further progress, development and prosperity. For his part, the UAE ambassador took pride in having met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, praising strong bilateral fraternal relations that reflect common keenness and firm determination to consolidate them in various fields for the best interest of both countries and peoples. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued prosperity and development. Discussions also focused on bilateral cooperation and means of strengthening them in various fields to serve common interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
