Doha, December 06 (QNA) - Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) will organize the 20th Race Meeting - Qatar Derby Festival at the QREC racecourse in Al-Rayyan from December 19 to 20, 2020. Win prizes worth over $1 million, the festival's first day will see 9 races including THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Class 3) (Far Bend) 1400 m; followed by PUREBRED ARABIAN CLAIMING RACE (Far Bend) 1200 m; LOCAL PUREBRED ARABIAN PLATE (3 Year Olds) (Far Bend) 1600 m; LOCAL THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Far Bend) 1600 m; LOCAL THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Far Bend) 1200 m; QATAR DERBY (Gr3 PA) (Far Bend) 1600; and QATAR DERBY (Gr2 PA) (Far Bend) 2000 m.
