Foreign Minister meets State Secretary of German Federal Foreign Office

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today the Secretary of State of the German Federal Foreign Office, Miguel Berger, on the sidelines of the 16th Manama Dialogue. The two sides stressed the importance of the friendly Bahraini-German relations, noting their development at various levels. They also discussed ways to further enhance joint cooperation and coordination in order to serve the interest of both countries. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Director of the European and European Union Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Shaikha Aisha bint Ahmed bin Saqr Al Khalifa. From the German side, it was attended by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kai Boeckmann and the German delegation.
