BDF Commander-in-Chief hosts lunch banquet

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Saudi Arabia's Chief of the General Staff, General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al Hunaiti, and the Chief of the General Staff at the British Army, General Sir Nicholas Carter. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General, Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and Defence Ministry’s Undersecretary, Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, were present at the launch banquet, held at the BDF Officers’ Club. The commander-in-chief welcomed the guests, lauding the good efforts they are exerting, and the fruitful roles they are playing to enhance their brotherly and friendly countries’ military and defence cooperation with Bahrain. A number of senior BDF officers also attended the lunch banquet.
