Deputy Director of AFC's Competitions Committee Praises Qatar's Organization of AFC Champions League

Doha, December 08 (QNA) - Deputy Director of the Competitions Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Avazbek Berdikulov has praised Qatar for hosting the AFC Champions League, East Zone matches with 'fine organization'. The AFC official specifically pointed out that strict medical protocols that have been implemented by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). Speaking after conducting the quarterfinals draw, Berdikulov said the match venues - three of those being World Cup stadiums - were 'truly world-class' that provided the participating teams with all comforts. The AFC official applauded Qatar for their brave effort of helping AFC to complete the Champions League matches in times of COVID-19. He said sports-loving countries would learn a lot from Qatar's top hosting at a difficult time. (QNA)
