Foreign Minister attends ISO certification awarding ceremony

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani attended the ceremony to award the Citizens, Residents and Consular Affairs Directorate the ISO 9001:2015 certification in cooperation with Bureau Veritas and the Information Systems Directorate the ISO 27001: 2013 in Information Security certificate, in cooperation with TUV. The minister was briefed by the managers of the two companies about the procedures followed to be awarded the ISO certification in quality, and the administrative steps taken in coordination with the Internal Audit and Quality Section and the concerned departments to achieve the task. Dr. Al Zayani expressed his sincere appreciation of the ministry personnel for their dedicated efforts to develop work and boost performances. He pointed out that the awarding of the prestigious ISO certifications reflects the keenness of the two departments to improve their performances and organize their work in line with the modern management methods. The minister praised the efforts of the Internal Audit and Quality Section and its constant follow-up with the other departments regarding the procedures required to achieve the set goals. Dr. Al Zayani expressed pride in the administrative achievement that reflects the extent of the efforts made by the employees of the two departments and shared his anticipation the other departments will strive to emulate their success.
