Shura congratulates HM King, HRH Crown Prince, Bahrain on National Days

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): The Shura Council has expressed its best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the people of Bahrain on the National Days. The Kingdom this month celebrates its National Days in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne. In a statement, the Shura said that the democratic achievements and the comprehensive progress during the prosperous era of HM the King as well as the high status achieved by Bahrain in various areas are the outcome of the reforms and democratic approach that laid the foundations for political and people's participation. The progress of joint action and the governmental and legislative integration in accordance with the highest standards of modern democracy have boosted Bahrain's status towards the effective implementation of the principles of law and institutions and the separation of powers and through an ambitious economic vision 2030, the statement said. The Shura recalled with great pride the national efforts of the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in building a modern state with people and human spirit at its core and based on fraternity, equality, justice, aspiration for the best, peaceful coexistence with all, and cooperation for goodness and happiness. The Shura renewed its full allegiance to HM the King and support for all sincere patriotic efforts that contribute to the fulfilment of HM's visions and aspirations for further reform and progress and the consolidation of the spirit of good citizenship, based on boosting the nation's status, developing its capabilities and defending its integrity.
