HM King's role in developing Bahrain police hailed by Shura Chairman

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has established the lofty concepts of the role and duties of Bahrain police, and developed them continuously, while ensuring Bahraini police personnel’s high readiness, and implementation of the best security practices to maintain security and enforce the law across the kingdom. Al-Saleh asserted that HM the King’s Reform Project has consolidated the crucial role played by the Interior Ministry and all its affiliates in safeguarding security and stability for the citizens and residents, which increased the achievements and successes of the Bahrain Police. In this regard, Al-Saleh lauded the dedicated efforts exerted by the Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, to develop policing in Bahrain, protect the nation and preserve hard-won gains and capabilities. He commended Bahraini policemen’s sacrifices at various fields, constant readiness to answer the call of duty and unwavering keenness to achieve the vision and aspirations of the leadership for a nation in which everyone enjoys security and stability. Al-Saleh indicated that the fight against the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) was a new opportunity in which the Interior Ministry’s personnel showcased the best humanitarian values and noble principles to which they are committed, through undertaking pivotal major roles in disinfecting buildings, streets and roads, raising the awareness of the citizens and residents on the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of pandemic and the campaigns that have encouraged all citizens and residents to engage in community partnership. The Shura Chairman also lauded the successes of Bahrain Police and their contributions to various fields, including human rights, confirming the prestigious status reached by the kingdom in this regard, through their adherence to the humanitarian values and principles for which Bahrain has always been known throughout history.
