Bahrain welcomes Yemeni parties’ implementation of Riyadh Agreement

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): Bahrain has welcomed the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement as it is by the Yemeni parties - the legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council - as an important step to strengthen and unify Yemeni efforts to confront the Iran- supported Houthi militias and achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people for security, peace and stability. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended, in this regard, the sincere efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and those of Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud , and their concern and interest in the security, stability, and prosperity of brotherly Yemen. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hailed the formation of a government of political competencies that includes all Yemen’s social components to put an end to military arrangements, appreciating the Yemeni parties’ keenness on the supreme interests of the Republic of Yemen and their endeavors to unify efforts to restore Yemeni legitimacy and achieve peace and stability in all parts of brotherly Yemen.
