HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives formal invitation addressed to HM the King from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attend GCC Supreme Council Meeting

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a formal invitation addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to attend the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, next week. The invitation was delivered to His Royal Highness during a meeting with HE Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the GCC, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness expressed the wishes of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the success of the 41st session of the GCC Supreme Council Meeting. For his part, HE Dr. Nayef expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness's interest in developing joint GCC work, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further prosperity. HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy were also in attendance.
