HM King receives letter from Philippine President

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The Philippine President praised deep-rooted historical relations between the two friendly countries which span over more than four decades. He lauded growing bilateral relations in various fields, stressing both countries’ commitment to further bolstering them. He also stressed the need to boost cooperation and confront the coronavirus pandemic to achieve common goals and interests. He expressed utmost thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the care accorded to the expatriate communities, including mainly the Philippine one. The President of the Philippines commended the leadership of HM the King and his forward-looking vision. He lauded perpetual growth and fruitful reforms achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King. He wished HM the King abundant health and happiness and further growth and prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
