Commander-in-Chief receives Pakistani Army Chief of Staff

Manama, Jan. 7 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received, at the BDF General Command today, the Pakistani Army Chief of Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and his accompanying delegation. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present. The commander-in-chief lauded the depth of the distinguished friendship relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, praising the steady progress of bilateral ties at all levels, especially regarding military coordination and defence cooperation. Issues of mutual concern were also discussed. Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah, Director of Maintenance and Technical Supply, Rear Admiral Anwar Al-Jowdar, and a number of senior BDF officers also attended the meeting.
