Operation of 1st phase of Marib Gas Power Plant project discussed
MARIB, May 02 (Saba)- Minister of Electricity Awad al-Socatri
headed on Saturday a meeting in Marib province to discuss measures
to operate first phase of Marib Gas Power Plant project in response
to president Ali Abdullah Saleh to operate the plant within coming
three months.
The meeting decided to form an operation room from different central
and local bodies to follow the work process in the project.
The total cost of the phase was $ 159 million at a capacity of 314
MGW.It will be operated by next July.
The minister and other officials paid a visit to the location of the
project.
