Yemen to host ABEGS's 67th round

SANA'A, May 03 (Saba)- Yemen will host the 67th round of the
executive board of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States
(ABEGS) during May 12-13.

Deputy assistant of Education Ministry Mohammed Zabarah briefed in
remarks to Saba that the meeting would discuss the program of
education development in the members countries.

He said that the meeting would also discuss in its agenda a number
of issues, documents, reports and memos.

Yemen is represented in the ABEGS round by under-secretary of
Education Minister Abdullah al-Hammadi.

It is worth mentioning that Yemen joined ABEGS under the decision of
the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council which was held
in Masqat in 2001.
