Foreign Minister meets IPI board chairman

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today met, through video conference, the Chair of the International Peace Institute (IPI) Board of Directors, Kevin Rudd. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister lauded the prominent role played by IPI in promoting peace and security through organising forums and doing specialised research considering the challenges faced by the world. He also stressed the Ministry’s keenness to continue promoting bilateral cooperation and joint coordination with the Institute to achieve the desired goals, wishing IPI further success. Rudd expressed his pride in and appreciation of the support IPI receives from the Foreign Minister. He hailed the Kingdom’s efforts to promote peace, security and stability in the region, wishing Bahrain further development.
